BEHIND THE WHEEL DRIVER TRAINING
The California DMV requires a minimum of 6 hours of professional Behind the Wheel (BTW) training before a drive test appointment can be scheduled. In addition to the 6-hours of professional instruction, your teen has to have the permit for at least 6 months (its valid for one year) with a minimum of 50 hours of practice – 10 of which have to be at night.
PLEASE NOTE: We do not allow our cars to be used for your DMV drive test. The DMV does not allow instructors to "teach the drive route" in preparation for the drive test. The DMV does not allow driving school vehicles to be around the DMV or designated drive route areas.
